KWEL Professional Network

Welcome to Kentucky Women in Education Leadership (KWEL), a community of professional female education leaders work together to acquire knowledge, competence, and self-confidence through personal leadership growth, mentorship, and support in career advancement. KWEL is a life changing initiative for more than 300 women leaders across the Commonwealth of Kentucky. I invite all women to be part of this incredible cohort of diverse executive female leaders.

The network includes the following services: 

  1. Exclusive online community for networking
  2. Women's forum January 25-26, 2023
  3. EILA credit for the forum and webinars
  4. Networking social January 24, 2023, for those arriving at the forum site the evening before the forum January 25-26, 2023
  5. 1:1 mentor support system February through December
  6. Virtual webinars in January, March, May, September, November (5 EILA credit hours)
  7. Contract negotiation strategies
  8. Situational coaching support
  9. Resume and interview support and coaching
  10. Exclusive events throughout the year at KASA's annual leadership institute
Cost for the Professional Network would be $599 

Additional Information
Annual Forum, January 25-26, 2023
As part of the network, you are automatically registered for the forum. A confirmation will be mailed to you once you complete the KWEL network registration.

Attention New Cohort Members! 
When you register for the network, be sure to check the orientation box set for January 24 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. EST. You will receive additional information, but this is where you will begin you KWEL Journey.
Please not the orientation is not included in the professional network and requires an additional fee $119. This will be added to your invoice.

Cancellation Policy
The KWEL Professional Network is a 12-month program that includes the annual Forum (January 25-26), 1:1 mentor support, webinars, contract negotiation strategies, situational coaching support, resume review support, interview prepping and coaching, and an exclusive online community for networking. Because these activities are spread over a one-year period, there is no option for cancellation and refund.

NEW! Director Named

Dr. Kathy Fields named director of KWEL. 

A 37-year veteran in the education arena, Fields brings experience from multiple leadership positions serving as a principal, instructional supervisor, special education, curriculum director, chief academic officer, and superintendent. She has also served as the Executive Director of the International Alliance for Invitational Education, administering schools and districts in all 50 of the United States and five countries. She is an author, international presenter and speaker seeking to spread the message of creating a positive and supportive learning environment across the globe.
