School Human Resource Leadership Program

If you are an aspiring School Human Resource Administrator, new to that role, or perhaps a veteran administrator who wants to continue to learn more about the human resources field, the KASA School Human Resources Leadership Program is for you! The program is designed in a cohort manner for participants to build that network of colleagues that is so vital to our success. You will continually hear and learn from some of our state's best practitioners in the human resources field as well as state and nationally known experts on particular HR topics.

Human resources make up the majority of school budgets as well as school legal issues. Completers of the program can rest assured that they will be well positioned to take on the challenges presented in today's school human resource environment. Once complete, we will take the opportunity to celebrate and share your accomplishment of acquiring a vast
base of school human resource knowledge in a public fashion.

The Program
Consists of five modules, four of which will be held in person at the KASA training center in Frankfort, KY. All sessions will be from 10 a.m. (eastern time) until 3:00 p.m. to allow for ample travel time before and after the sessions. Lunch will be provided and five hours of EILA credit will be granted for each completed module.

In order to complete the program and obtain the KASA Certificate of Completion, participants must attend all four live modules and the Personnel Essentials Webinar Conducted by Wayne Young in early February.  Any module missed may be made up the following year for completion of the program. Once complete, the passing of a comprehensive assessment with be the final piece of the program.  Those who complete at least four of the five modules may take the test but will only be awarded the certificate of completion upon attending the missed module the following year.

Participants that complete the entire program will receive a Certificate of Completion. You will also be given permission to utilize the KASA School Human Resources Leadership Program completer logo and badge for signature lines signifying the extensive professional knowledge base acquired by the participant. In addition, public recognition will be given in a variety of ways to let everyone know of your accomplishment and expertise.
