April Devine, Ed.D., Director Pupil Personnel, Hopkins County
April Devine, Ed.D., director pupil personnel in the Hopkins County school district, assumes the role of president-elect. She began her career as an English teacher and dance coach. She quickly moved into administrative roles as a curriculum coordinator, assistant principal, director of assessment, and her current role as director of pupil personnel. As a member of KASA since 2012, Devine has served as the chair of the Leading Innovative Learning task force and is a member of the Kentucky Women in Education Leadership. She earned her B.A., M.A., and Ed.S. from Murray State University and her doctorate from Oakland City University.
