Strong leadership is the foundation of any successful organization, and the KASA Board of Directors plays a critical role in guiding our mission, vision, and strategic initiatives. The nomination process is an opportunity to recognize and elevate individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership, commitment, and expertise.

Nominations are now open for the positions of President-Elect and Vice President on the KASA Board of Directors. This is a chance to help shape the future of our organization by identifying leaders who are dedicated to advancing our goals and making a meaningful impact.

Nomination Process

If you are interested in serving as an officer of KASA, please review the Officer Nomination Guidelines prior to completing the nomination form. If additional information is needed, please contact KASA’s Chief Executive Officer Rhonda Caldwell at (800) 928-KASA or via email. Deadline to submit is Monday, May 19, 2025.

1. Complete the nomination form above and submit it to KASA by Monday, May 19, 2025.
2. Submit the items noted - photograph, resume, maximum 500-word narrative regarding your experiences as an education leader and vision for KASA; and two letter of recommendations (one from an active KASA member in the candidate's region, who is not employed int the same district as the candidate, and one from a KASA board member or the governing body of a KASA affiliate group of which the candidate is a member. An affiliate officer/governing board member may submit a recommendation for more than one candidate).
3. Be interviewed for the position by the nominating committee Wednesday, June 4, 2025.
4. Share your vision for KASA as outlined in the application with the committee members during the interview.
5. If elected begin your term July 25, 2025, at the closing session of KASA's annual leadership institute.
