In an effort to make our Coat Drive as successful as possible we have provided you with a Press Kit in this email to help communicate the necessary information to anyone in your district and community who would like to join us in this worthwhile cause.
Below you will see an email template to communicate with your community what the coat drive is and why we’re doing it along with a flyer with all the pertinent information, and the News Release.

As we head into the winter season, I want to invite you to participate in a coat drive for the victims of the Eastern Kentucky Floods that occurred this past summer. I, along with the Kentucky Association of School Administrators of which I am a member, are working to ensure students and families have the proper clothing for the cold season ahead.
Please see the attached flyer for information on how to donate coats, gloves, and hats for preschool through high school aged students along with the school district staff. If you would prefer to make a donation for the purchase of these items, you may do so at:
