Nominations Now Open for KASA Board of Directors

Help shape the future of educational leadership in Kentucky.

Deadline: August 18, 2025

KASA is seeking nominations to fill vacancies on the KASA Board of Directors in the following regions/role groups, alongside the outgoing representatives:

NKASA Region

Ms. Jenny Lynn Hatter, Assistant Superintendent, Harrison Co.

Bluegrass Region

Dr. Jaziel Guerra, Elementary Principal, Mercer Co.

Mountain Region

Ms. Paula Boggs, Director of Technology, Perry Co.

High School Principal

Mr. Tim Isaacs, High School Principal, Hardin Co.

KASA members in these regions/role groups are invited to participate in the nomination process. The successful candidate will serve a three-year term beginning immediately. An online election will be held shortly after the nomination period closes.

Nominee Requirements

  1. Be a professional or premier member of KASA
  2. Be from a different school district and hold a different position than the previous regional director
  3. Be available to serve a three-year term (2025-2028)
  4. Attend board meetings in the spring and fall each year and the fall retreat (Fall: Sept. 5, 2025; Spring: June 5, 2025)
  5. Coordinate the region’s annual meeting

KASA provides travel reimbursement to participate in board meetings.
