2025 Annual Leadership Institute July 23-25

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be submitted to the KASA office in writing via email (lisa@kasa.org), fax (502) 875-4634, or mail to 87 C. Michael Davenport Blvd., Frankfort, KY 40601 no later than Friday, June 13, 2025. If eligible, refunds will be issued after August 15, 2025, minus a $49 administrative fee. Due to KASA’s commitments to various vendors and suppliers on your behalf, refunds cannot be granted for no shows, late arrival, or early departure.

Substitutions are encouraged to replace those individuals who are registered but unable to attend at the last minute. Please submit a written request to lisa@kasa.org. Only one substitution is permitted per original registrant. The individual submitting the substitution request is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with that substitution. The appropriate member/nonmember rate will apply.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
KASA will not cancel a conference due to inclement weather. KASA will issue refunds to those registrants who notify us of their verifiable weather-related travel cancellation less a $100 processing fee.

*Written cancellation or substitution is required to protect both KASA members and staff from the uncertainty and misunderstandings that may occur because of cancellations made by phone during a hectic work period.

Routine student disciplinary procedures are addressed in law and are designed to protect the rights of students, but discipline for special education students is governed by a myriad of highly technical federal and state laws and regulations that make it necessary for school personnel to understand the civil rights and ethical implications of imposing discipline on special education students. This workshop will explore these topics in-depth. Presented by Teresa Combs " 3 hours EILA credit. Free to those registered for the full conference. Limited seating.
