KASA continues to monitor the rapidly changing situation related to the spread of COVID-19. We understand that concerns for health, safety, and the impact on meeting attendance, among other issues, are affecting our members.
Absent federal travel restrictions and/or local, state, or regional decisions to close venues, KASA has not canceled this meeting at this time. At these events, we commit to maintaining all appropriate sanitary, health, and safety measures and encourage attendees to follow guidelines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization. If there are any changes to event schedules, we will provide information to registrants about virtual options that may be available and/or other specific details.
Please note that due to the ongoing uncertainty regarding the coronavirus, KASA will not charge a cancellation fee if you decide to not attend an in-person event based on concerns around your health or travel.
Because of these concerns, we have modified our cancellation policy to the following:
*Written cancellation or substitution is required to protect both KASA members and staff from the uncertainty and misunderstandings that may occur because of cancellations made by phone during a hectic work period.
