The Center for Education Leadership
The Center for Education Leadership, formerly known as the Kentucky Academy of School Executives, led the implementation of the state’s new Professional Growth and Effectiveness System (PGES) for school superintendents, principals and teachers. The Center works in partnership with the Kentucky Department of Education and the Kentucky Association of School Administrators.
The Center is governed by a nine-member board of directors made up of school administrators from across the commonwealth. Their first order of business was the selection of Rhonda Caldwell, deputy director of KASA, as their new executive director. The board of directors will work to provide targeted programs, pioneering learning tools, and networking opportunities to create the strongest, most qualified school administrators in the country.
