Just In: New Leadership

Jinger Carter, Director of Human Resources for Henderson County Schools, now leads the KASA School Human Resources Leadership Program. With 28 years in education—including 12 in HR and 8 as Director of Assessment and Accountability—Jinger brings deep expertise and a passion for developing school leaders. She holds a Rank 1 in District Administration, a Master's in School Counseling, and a background in English education and communication and is a chairperson for Henderson Community College Foundation.

NOW IN A VIRTUAL FORMAT!

The KASA School Human Resources Leadership Program is ideal for aspiring and experienced School Human Resource Administrators alike. This cohort-based program offers participants a valuable networking opportunity essential for success. Engage with top state practitioners and national experts to continuously learn and grow in the HR field.

School budgets and legal matters heavily involve HR, and program completers gain a comprehensive understanding to tackle current challenges. Upon completion, celebrate your achievement and showcase your enhanced school HR knowledge publicly.

The Program

The program consists of five virtual modules. Participants will earn five hours of EILA credit for each completed module.

To earn the KASA Certificate of Completion, participants must attend all four modules and the Personnel Essentials Webinar conducted by Wayne Young in early February. 

Upon successful completion of all modules and a comprehensive assessment, participants will receive:

  • Permission to use the program completer logo and badge
  • Public recognition of expertise

 

Intended Audience

Any school administrator with human resource responsibilities or anyone desiring to learn more about school personnel management.
