Jason Booher, a survivor of the Carrollton Bus Crash, will share his powerful story of resilience and determination in his presentation "From Tragedy to Championships." At 13, he survived the nation's worst drinking and driving crash, an event that shaped his future in education. He will discuss how teachers and coaches helped him overcome adversity, leading him to become the first in his family to graduate college and eventually a successful superintendent of Mercer County Schools. His testimony highlights the crucial role educators play in supporting at-risk students to achieve their goals and dreams.
