This event is a part of our #LoveKYPrincipals campaign, a year-long advocacy effort to promote self-care, stress management, and attention to physical and mental health of our principals. KASA president and high school principal, Bobby Bennett, along with the board of directors recognize the additional stress being added on leaders and have added specific actions in the strategic plan and yearly focus for the association.

Meet the Presenter:
Joseph L. Bargione, PhD
is a licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist. Dr. Bargione was the lead psychologist for 25 years with Jefferson County Public Schools. He has presented at the state, regional, and national levels in crisis intervention, youth mental health first aid, suicide prevention, and trauma. In 2018-19 Dr. Bargione served on the legislative workgroup that led to the passage of the School Safety and Resilience Act (Senate Bill 1) in 2019.
