Kentucky Principal of the Year Announced
Eric Hale, Principal of Bryan Station High School in Fayette County, has been named the 2024 Kentucky Principal of the Year. This prestigious recognition honors Hale's exceptional leadership and dedication to educational excellence. As the state honoree, Hale will represent Kentucky in the national competition for the 2025 National Principal of the Year, organized by the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP).

The Kentucky Association of School Administrators (KASA) named its finalists for the 2024 Fred Award.

The Fred Program, now in its 17th year, continues its mission to celebrate the unsung heroes of our public schools—the dedicated support staff who are the heartbeat of our school communities. Proudly presented by KASA, in collaboration with 
author Mark Sanborn and American Fidelity, this year’s program extends its reach to 51 school districts whose Freds have been honored statewide.
